ACS in the News!

Data from the ACS continues to make news — this time as a result of the recent release of ACS’s 2015 1-year data.

First, new data showed that “Minnesotans between 16 and 64 years old are more likely to be working, working full-time, and earning higher wages and salaries in 2015 than in 2014.” The ACS also showed “signs of progress” for Minnesota’s minorities. Still, some Minnesota areas “face more poverty than the state as a whole.”

For the US, “middle class incomes had their fastest growth on record last year.”

Beyond economic news, there was also new data on bicycle commuting and other issues. Head over to Minnesota Compass to learn about all the new data.
